The upcoming Wash It All Away TV anime has received a teaser trailer, which shows a peek of the seaside setting of Atami and protagonist Wakana Kinme’s laundry washing.
The anime is set to premiere in 2026.
Wash It All Away (Kirei ni Shitemoraemasuka.) is based on the manga by Mitsuru Hattori, which started serialization in the seinen magazine Young Gangan in 2017 and released its 10th and final volume August 2023. Square Enix describes the premise as such:
For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana’s devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers’ precious items.
