Season 15, Episode 1 features the following two horror shorts, one of which is executive produced by and featuring horror legend Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects)…
Room Tone
Director – Michael Gabriele
Starring – Angela Aiello, Michey O’Sullivan
Synopsis – When a sound guy’s attempt to capture “room tone” is constantly thwarted by the noisy antics of his coworkers, he takes extreme measures to achieve silence.
“Room Tone is a peculiar phenomenon on any film set,” Gabriele explains. “It’s a seemingly simple task: record the ambient sound of the room. Yet, for sound engineers, it’s often a moment of intense focus, a chance to showcase their meticulous attention to detail.
“The film’s title, Room Tone, was born from a simple, yet profound observation: what happens when this seemingly mundane task becomes impossible? What if, despite the sound engineer’s best efforts, absolute silence proves elusive? What if the very essence of capturing the room’s ambient sound is disrupted by the inability of the crew to remain quiet? This seemingly absurd scenario became the unlikely genesis of the film.”
Bellevue Bob
Director – Sean Haitz
Starring – Featuring Bill Moseley
Synopsis – An escaped mental patient hides behind clown makeup to continue his killing spree and audition for a terrifying lineup of killers and creeps – Kharver’s Carnival.
