Fire Force Season 3 Reveals Cour 2 Teaser

A teaser trailer for Fire Force Season 3’s second cour has been released.

The new cour is set to premiere in January 2026 and previously received a teaser visual.

Fire Force Season 3’s first cour premiered in April 2025, almost five years after Season 2’s 2020 premiere. Prime Video’s description of the premise reads:

Shinra and the team are about to uncover the world’s greatest secret. But just as the other Special Fire Force Companies unite to face the looming disaster, Obi is captured by the Tokyo Imperial Army, and Company 8 is branded as traitors. Hunted by the Empire, they must fight alone to rescue Obi and stop the Evangelist—all while a new assassin and the corrupt Captain Burns block their path.

Fire Force is based on the manga by Soul Eater‘s Atsushi Ohkubo, which started serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2015 and released its 34th and final tankobon volume in May 2022. Kodansha USA describes the manga’s premise as such:

A new action fantasy set in a steampunk Tokyo from the creator of the smash-hit Soul Eater! The city of Tokyo is plagued by a deadly phenomenon: spontaneous human combustion! Luckily, a special team is there to quench the inferno: The Fire Force! The fire soldiers at Special Fire Cathedral 8 are about to get a unique addition. Enter Shinra, a boy who possesses the power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous “devil’s footprints” (and destroying his shoes in the process). Can Shinra and his colleagues discover the source of this strange epidemic before the city burns to ashes?

The anime’s first season started airing in 2019.
