Disney Branded Television has released the full trailer and poster for “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire,” giving fans a new look at the live-action take on the beloved character. The series premieres Thursday, Sept. 12, on Disney Channel, with all episodes streaming beginning Oct. 15 on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand.

In addition to the trailer and poster, Disney announced that Walt Disney Records will release the “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire Original Soundtrack” on Oct. 10. The album will feature 14 brand-new songs, including the first single, “S-L-A-Y,” which will be available Sept. 12.

The series follows tween vampire Vee (Kenzi Richardson), who leaves Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. As she pursues her love of music and adjusts to life among humans, she must also keep her vampire identity hidden, a task complicated when her father assigns a ghostly chaperone to watch over her.

The main cast includes Jiwon Lee as roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as Elijah, Milo Maharlika as Demi the ghost and Faith Hedley as Britney. Kate Reinders and Jeff Meacham star as Vee’s parents, while Kim Coles plays Dean Merriweather.

Guest stars this season include Emmy Award winner Mykal-Michelle Harris (Raven’s Home) as Ruby, Jenna Davis (M3GAN) as Megan, Ariel Martin (aka Baby Ariel; ZOMBIES) as Millie Eyelash and Janice LeAnn Brown reprising her role as Billie in a Wizards Beyond Waverly Place crossover.

Behind the camera, Dan Cross and David Hoge (Julie and the Phantoms) serve as showrunners and executive producers, alongside Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Bronwyn North-Reist and Meg Deloatch (Family Reunion).

“Vampirina: Teenage Vampire” is the first live-action take on the hit book and Disney Junior animated series, bringing music, mystery and supernatural fun to a new generation of fans.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney Channel, Disney+ and this ABC station.
