Kenshi Yonezu Debuts “KICK BACK” Frost Children Remix, Announces Release Dates for Chainsaw Man

Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu has released a new remix for his hit single “KICK BACK” from American pop duo Frost Children, and has also announced release dates for the two theme songs of the upcoming Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc anime film.

The “KICK BACK” remix single is now available on several music streaming platforms. A visualizer video was also released.

Additionally, “IRIS OUT,” the official theme song to Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, will be released on September 15, 2025. Meanwhile, the film’s ending theme “JANE DOE” featuring Hikaru Utada, will be released on September 22, 2025.

For fans who want to catch up on the Chainsaw Man TV anime series ahead of Reze Arc, a two-part compilation film titled Chainsaw Man – The Compilation is now streaming on Crunchyroll and the Ani-One Asia YouTube channel. The compilation film recaps key moments from the TV anime series, and also includes newly animated sections titled Chainsaw Days that adapt extra end chapters from the manga.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will begin screening in Japanese theaters on September 19, 2025. It will then premiere in select Asian countries from September 24, 2025 to September 26, 2025, before screening in the U.S. on October 29, 2025 and in parts of Europe, South America, and the Middle East on October 30, 2025.

Sony Pictures Releasing is releasing the film in the U.S. through Crunchyroll, and describes the main synopsis as:

For the first time, Chainsaw Man slashes his way onto the big screen in an epic, action-fueled adventure that continues the hugely popular anime series. Denji worked as a Devil Hunter for the yakuza, trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, until the yakuza betrayed him and had him killed. As he was losing consciousness, Denji’s beloved chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, made a deal with Denji and saved his life. This fused the two together, creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man. Now, in a brutal war between devils, hunters, and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has stepped into his world, and Denji faces his deadliest battle yet, fueled by love in a world where survival knows no rules.
