5 people shot in Wilmington, Delaware
WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) — Police in Wilmington are investigating a shooting that left five people injured Friday night, just one block from the city’s police headquarters.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 400 block of East 4th Street.
According to Wilmington Police, officers responded around 10:06 p.m. and located five gunshot victims. Among those shot were a 35-year-old woman, a 28-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man, a 56-year-old man, and a 60-year-old man. All were transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities have not released details about the circumstances of the shooting or any suspects. The incident remains under investigation, and police say additional information will be released when available.
