BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) — There has been a major crackdown on child predators in Bensalem, Bucks County.

Officials with the Bensalem Police Department, the District Attorney and others detailed recent investigations on Tuesday.

So far this year, 17 criminal arrests have been made for unlawful contact with minors and other offenses.

Of the 17 arrests, only one of the suspects was from Bensalem Township.

Officials reminded parents of the importance of monitoring their child’s online activity.
