Stranger Things and KPop Demon Hunters Get Netflix Yule Log

Netflix is making it easier to get into the holiday spirit this December with a trio of new yule logs inspired by three of the streamer’s biggest hits: Stranger Things, Wednesday, and KPop Demon Hunters.

All three virtual fireplace videos are available to stream now.

Each one-hour fireplace scene features original music and Easter eggs for fans to discover. The Stranger Things fireplace, for example, is set in the Byers’ living room in Hawkins, Indiana, with the familiar alphabet and string of lights on the wall. This yule log brings the threat of the Upside Down to your living room while we await Volume II, set to arrive on Christmas Day before the series finale brings the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.

The Wednesday yule log is set in the Principal’s office at Nevermore Academy, complete with a surprise appearance from Thing. The gothic setting makes this one the most horror-forward of the three, for those seeking a more Creepmas vibe.

KPop Demon Hunters yule log features a glowing purple fireplace based on demon king Gwi-Ma’s (Lee Byung-hun) underworld, soundtracked to new instrumental versions of the animated hit movie’s songs.

The new lineup joins Netflix’s previously released yule logs for Squid Game and The Witcher, also available to stream currently.
