EUROPEAN TRAILER FOR “SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT REBOOT REVEALS EVEN MORE CARNAGE

“Bad people… need to be punished.”

Although we’re much closer to Halloween than Christmas, Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting are using the horror-heavy holiday to load us up with promo for their next venture.

Not too long ago, the first full trailer for Mike P. Nelson’s remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night was unveiled.

Advertised as a “red-band” clip, the teaser appeared to show a no holds barred look at the gory delights in store.

However, that wasn’t exactly true! Apparently, even a red-band trailer couldn’t handle the brutality Silent Night, Deadly Night has to offer, as the preview was significantly edited for its American debut.

But, fear not, as a recently released European trailer has surfaced via Studio Canal! To say the carnage is off-the-charts is… quite the understatement. Nelson’s reboot is quite literally going for the jugular, and then some!

In the clip, we see a lot of the same things we have previously, but there are many, many extended gory nuggets on show. Whilst the 1984 original wasn’t afraid to have Billy Chapman show his killing prowess from time to time, 2025’s Billy has an unending bloodlust.

Besides the familiar axe, Rohan Campbell’s slasher uses guns, a bow and arrow, knives, and even a car to dispatch his chosen victims. All set against the merriment of snow and twinkling fairy lights, Nelson’s remake is taking more than a few cues from 2024’s Terrifier 3, it seems.

Besides the additional bloodshed, the European trailer also sheds more light on the plot. Far from being just a run-of-the-mill psychopath, we learn that Billy Chapman is actually performing a public service with his killing sprees. Gifted with the unique ability to tell if a person is of “bad” character, he uses the holidays as the ideal setting to dispatch anyone naughty… Interesting!

So, with promo in full swing, will Silent Night, Deadly Night be the ultimate gift to horror fans this December? We’re looking forward to finding out.

Silent Night, Deadly Night will slash into theatres on December 12th 2025, and you can check out the gory European trailer below:
