A trailer and visual for Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 have been revealed ahead of the TV anime’s April 2026 premiere.
The anime’s first season premiered in July 2024 and ran for a cour. The source material is a manga written by Danmachi‘s Fujino Omori and drawn by Toshi Aoi. Kodansha USA describes the Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga as such:
The new, magical dungeon-adventure fantasy series from the author of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Seeking to fulfill a promise to a childhood friend, Will Serfort enters Regarden Magical Academy with the goal of making it to the top of the magical world. There’s just one problem: he can’t use magic! Will his sword skills be the key to unlocking his true potential?

The manga began serialization in 2020 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine and has 14 volumes as of November 2025.
