The airline launched a four-day sale on flights Monday, announcing up to 40% off base fares and calling it one of its biggest sales of the year. The offer ends June 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The deal is good for travel between Aug. 4 and Dec. 16, with blackout dates of Sept. 7, Oct. 9, Oct. 12, Nov. 20-25, and Nov. 27-30.

The discounted fares are good for one-way or roundtrip tickets, but seats, travel days, and markets are limited. Continental U.S. travel is valid Monday through Saturday and Hawaii and international travel is valid Sunday through Wednesday. Travel to and from Puerto Rico is valid Monday through Thursday.

The fares are subject to taxes, fees, and other government or airport-imposed charges of at least $5.60 per one-way trip, according to the airline.

Travelers must use the code FLYWOW when booking at southwest.com.

Southwest ranked among the best airlines for customer satisfaction in the JD Power 2026 North America Airline Customer Satisfaction Study, ranking No. 1 for economy/basic economy for the fifth consecutive year.
